			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the United States childhood obesity is a constant and growing problem; something that has astounded and baffled professionals from every corner of the map. Of course it does not help that just about anything sold in the US that is a sweet liquid contains copious amounts of high fructose corn syrup. That, though, is an issue best left for another day. One of the things that makes childhood obesity such a painful subject is that obese kids often seem like they haven&#8217;t been given an honest shot at life and that is a tragedy. Kids who suffer from childhood obesity are forced to deal with things like back pain, joint pain, arthritis, Type II diabetes and terrible bullying from their peers who don&#8217;t understand the condition. This is a hard and terrible subject and we&#8217;ll look at it some more in this article.</p>
<p>The particular medical conditions that any young person, child or teen who is obese will experience can be highly variable. There are many influences, some of which will be genetic in nature. Severely obese kids and teens are more prone to conditions that adversely effect their bones and joints. Very often problems associated with the load-bearing joints will arise. The feet, ankles, knees and hips are particularly prone to skeletal stress. Kids will experience joint pain, often in the back, as well as a constant state of low-grades of swelling around the joints. Arthritis in these children and teens is commonly diagnosed, as well. </p>
<p>The cardiovascular system is where most of the serious risks will develop. Triglycerides are in the fatty blood profiles of obese children as well as having elevated serum cholesterol. The early development of these heart disease precursors early in life is something that requires immediate intervention. A child may have to take prescription medication to counter the effects of high cholesterol so just think about this. Accepting the known side effects is something an adult has to do when they take these medications.</p>
<p>These medicines may be complicated for a young child or a teenager to take.</p>
<p>You probably already know that obese kids and teens are burdened with a terrible social stigma. Going to school each day must be something along the lines of unbearable. The effects of this kind of activity can wreak havoc on a person for the rest of his or her life. Every person is going to react differently to this, for sure. The ripple effects of being obese are huge and serious, and we seriously think many obese teens and adults may seek counseling so they can deal with the damage done. </p>
<p>So that these children start to lose weight, we think that they should have an emergency plan of action. Of course we are aware that there are loads of unique situations for these kids. It is a serious situation that so far has eluded serious inroads to reverse.</p>
